I called OREA to purchase and have not yet received my order number.
Currently, OREA handles all order processing by phone. PassIt doesn't receive copies of OREA order confirmations and is therefore unable to look up your order number. Please check your spam/junk boxes in case the message was incorrectly filtered as junk mail by your e-mail application. OREA customer service can provide your order number over the phone by calling (866) 411-6732 (Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m.). Upon receiving the order number go to www.passit.ca, and click Log In to get started.
I purchased via PayPal (I am not an OREA student) and have not yet received my order number.
The PayPal system automatically generates confirmation e-mails. If ten minutes or more has passed and you have not received an order number and login instructions by e-mail please contact us for assistance. Note: the confirmation e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address entered during the PayPal order process.
My order number doesn't work.
OREA order numbers contain a hyphen, so be sure to enter the order number exactly as it appeared in your confirmation e-mail. Also, ensure you're visiting the right page of the site as each study guide has its own unique login page. Go to www.passit.ca, and click Log In to access the appropriate page.
I entered my e-mail address and password and can't login.
This could be due to several possible reasons:
You haven't activated your study guide. If you have received a new order number, activate your study guide by entering your order number under New Order # Activation on the appropriate login screen. During activation you will choose a password to access the study guide for future log-ins.
You are accessing the wrong area of the site. Ensure you're visiting the right page of the site as each study guide has its own unique login page. Go to www.passit.ca, and click Log In to access the appropriate page.
Your password is incorrect. Click the I Have Forgotten My Password button on the login screen and follow the instructions to have a new password sent to you by e-mail.
Your access has expired. Each study guide has different access periods. When you activate your guide you will receive a confirmation e-mail that includes your expiry date.
Technical Questions
The text on the screen is overlapping or unreadable, or the main login screen won't load.
There is either a problem with your browser or the Flash Player. These steps should resolve the issue:
If you continue to experience difficulties you may wish to update your Flash Player and/or try a different browser. The study guide is supported in current versions of Firefox, Chrome, Safari and Internet Explorer.
Can I use the study guide on a mobile device?
No, PassIt Online Study Guides are not supported on mobile devices. The layout of the application requires a minimum screen resolution of 1024 x 768 and have not been designed for, or tested on, mobile devices. PassIt study guides are not accessible on the iPad as this device currently does not support any applications which require the Flash Player.

When will study guides be available for The Residential Real Estate Transaction and The Commercial Real Estate Transaction?
The next study guide to be released will be for The Residential Real Estate Transaction, which will be available for purchase starting July 26th, 2010. The study guide for The Commercial Real Estate Transaction is under development with a planned release late fall/early winter. Where can I get extra help?
For additional assistance with any topic first refer to your course text. Assistance with course content is also provided via the OREA instructor help line at (866) 444-5557 (Monday to Friday, 9:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.) and online via the OREA forum accessible from My Portfolio.
If I have PassIt do I need the book?
The PassIt Online Study Guide is NOT a replacement for the book and is designed to be used in conjunction with your course text/online course in preparation for the exam. You will need the course text to learn the content, the study guide will then provide additional opportunities to test your knowledge and application of the material provided in the text with new exercises and multiple choice questions similar to what you may see on an exam.
Are PassIt MCQs the same as what I will see on the exam?
PassIt MCQs are designed to help you prepare for the exam, however, no one can predict what questions will be on a particular OREA exam as each student's exam is randomly computer generated and will differ from student to student. All questions are based on the applicable course text books. Obviously some of the questions may be very close to those on an exam based on formulas, theories, mathematics and/or scenarios.
